Twilight of the Gods [Ragnarök]

It takes a healthy dose of greed and ignorance to wreak havoc upon such an intricate composition as Nature itself. For the last 100 years or so humanity has achieved the impossible – destroying a whole planet that existed for thousands of years.

This fresh take on the systematic pollution calls for action by bringing back some much-needed Old Gods. But even Gods have a hard time fixing humanity’s foolishness.

Ragnarök is a coming-of-age story of an outsider (Magne) who slowly discovers he is different. His struggle to cope with his calling and prove himself is every hero’s journey, but this time set in present-day Norway.

People who dream about being special should know that in reality, it’s just a nightmare.

The breathtaking setting of the land of Vikings is where this story belongs. Bringing back Norse mythology and reminding the audience that the battle of Good vs Evil is happening right now is a new approach to being present and aware of climate change.

There is of course a love story, the rich vs poor dichotomy and the beautiful simplicity of European productions.

Ragnarök is now on NETFLIX
